The Ocean Course, Hilton Head Island’s first, was personally redesigned by Mark McCumber in 1995. McCumber used a combination of lagoons, bunkers and contouring to create a contemporary course that appeals to golfers of all levels of play while preserving the natural Sea Pines setting.
