Hilton Head National Golf Course, named one of “America’s Best Golf Courses” by Golfweek magazine, consists of 27 holes which are usually in excellent year round condition. The first 18 was designed by Gary Player and features a vintage “Lowcountry” layout complete with tree-lined fairways and gently rolling mounds along the edges. The following nine was the work of designer Bobby Weeds which served as an excellent compliment to Player’s work. Other honors include USA Today's "Top 50 Rated Courses" and "Top 20 Costal Carolina Courses" by Coastal Carolina Golf Map.
