Harbour Town Golf Links, home to the PGA’s prestigious World Com Classic, is currently ranked as the best course in the state of South Carolina as well as one of the elite courses in the world. It offers 18 memorable holes that require classic and demanding shotmaking. The signature hole is #18, a 478-yard par 4 requiring a long tee shot to a wide landing area which juts into the Calibogue Sound. The following approach shot is challenged by the Sound’s ocean breezes as the memorable Harbour Town Lighthouse serves as a backdrop. Harbour Town remains an innovative masterpiece and is a favorite among PGA tour pros. Designer Pete Dye completed renovation of the course in November 2000 to much acclaim.
